Suffolk has some of the best sunsets I have ever seen, and what was brilliant about Aldeburgh was that sunset watching was a priority every evening. We would sit and watch as the sun set over the boats reflected in the water. It was so beautiful.

The Paralympics, the London 2012 Victory parade and the Sea (September 2012)

In September, I got to go on holiday with friends & family, swim in the sea, open the doors to the Great Hall, see the British spirit out in full force, celebrate the achievements of TEAM GB, try on a policeman’s hat, try to start a Mexican wave down the strand with the crowds lining the streets and see my friends lots before waving them off to University, I also got to see a childhood friend’s band play twice and went to their EP release, saw the most amazing other worldly sunsets, danced dared and had many episodes of hysteria with some of my closest friends, and spent some sunny days with the family! :)

September was good to me, I only hope that October will also be awesome :D

We were going to walk around the city for the day but ended up buying books, strawberries, bunting and sweets and lying in a park all afternoon, then we climbed the lions in Trafalgar square and went out for chinese food in chinatown :)

‘Adventures in the summer-time (July 2012)’

July was an amazing month, the Olympics started which was one of the most exciting things ever! We had a surprise birthday party that was two months overdue for my friend, Alice. There was a crazy evening of zipwires, days in parks and befriending squirrels, some kayaking, a visit to Abbey road, a few days at the beach, camping, time with Pheebs and a giant rope swings. I had so much fun with friends, am going to miss them all so much!

‘Brighton’

A one night trip with 3 of my best friends at the very beginning of July. It rained the whole time but we didn’t care, we actually went in the sea, got laughed at by a lifeguard, did a lot of cafe - hopping, saw the beautiful Brighton Pavillion, went on the pier which we described as ‘deliciously tacky’ and skipped our way through the city. We had this hotel room too, and it was so fun going away with friends.

‘A city made for summer.’

This video is from a trip back in June during a visit to Germany to visit my dear sister in her adopted city. We also brought along some family friends for the ride :) It involved hysterical evenings, lots of cheer, riding lulu’s bike down a massive hill with both of us on it at once, as we giggled until we couldn’t breathe, we also swam in a beautiful lake, went to Rudi and Christl’s house (the legends) and went on a boat trip which was entirely for beer and schnitzel.

‘Prom, 18th birthday, jubilee, camping and friends (June 2012)’

It was a wonderful month, I finished my A - Levels, got to go camping, celebrated the diamond jubilee of the queen, spent lots of time with friends and said goodbye to one of my best friends who has gone to America for a few months, visited my sister in Germany and had hysterics when we both managed to ride her bike, went to Prom in a limo (first time), saw Zandra, there were gorgeous sunsets, it was sunny, It was my birthday, Karen visited, my 79 year old grandad got engaged (!!!!), there was musical chairs, campfires and sing songs. Pancake-making, a reunion with pheebs and lots of fun with my friends!

Prom was awesome! There has been so much build up and I didn’t really think it would live up to expectation but I had so much fun. I was surrounded by best friends, got to go in a limo for the first time, laughed a lot and danced the night away surrounded by great people. Highlights included Rowena and I pranking Alice, ‘Dad dancing’, yummy food, getting called up to get flowers for helping with the yearbook, the elaborate gold bathrooms, chatting on the balcony, singing along to S club on the way there and during the dancing, everyone’s gorgeous dresses and counting down to my 18th birthday at Midnight. Also the aftermath at my house, where we couldn’t stop giggling about how we were doing such trivial things in such formal dresses :)

Have finally finished school which is a very strange but quite good feeling! The 26th marked our last official day of school but this video is about all the footage I had of the last few months at school that was sitting on my laptop crying out for a use! It really makes us look quite odd - but it is a good batch of memories :)

32: ‘Camping in Hampshire’

Camping is just about one of my favourite things EVER and this trip was only for 1 night (for me) since I had A-levels to study for but it was amazingly brilliant and I took lots of footage! Excited for the next time which is this weekend! Wahoo! This trip involved a visit to a beautiful local town where we met a lovely elderly couple who came from the area we live in, there was a campfire, singalongs, pranks, Irish accents and of course plenty of dancing!

I love my neighbours - they are all like family!

This month included the end of school, the final bus ride, high ropes with the guides, the start of my A-levels, some sunshine, lots of running/falling in rivers and quite a bit of dancing! (I didn’t film the entirety of my month which was revising!)
